Fridays 8:30 1m - 12:30 pm
The Uxbridge Community Health Clinic provides health care for patients of all ages with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions. This clinic is Nurse Practitioner led and is appointment based. Appointments can be booked for the same or next day. Patients will be able to access in-person care and subsequent follow-up care when considered necessary and appropriate. For applicable cases, the clinic and its services are an alternative to visiting the Emergency Departments.
However, if this is a medical emergency, or If you or someone you care for is experiencing any of the following symptoms, you should be seen in person at your nearest Emergency Department:

Life-threatening situations

Stroke symptoms, such as face drooping, arm or leg weakness/numbness, speech difficulties, and headaches

Signs of a heart attack including chest pains spreading to the arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach

Fever in infants under 60 days old

Severe shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Actively Seizing
-
Pregnancy-related emergencies
-
Sudden and new altered level of consciousness

Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)

Sudden loss of vision
Note: Controlled substances, including narcotics and stimulants, will not be prescribed for patients seen in urgent care. Special diet, disability or other government forms will not be signed off or filled out as part of urgent care services.
